Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in KinesiologyThe University of Texas at El Paso invites application for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in the Department of Kinesiology in the College of Health Sciences. The position is a tenure-track/tenured, nine-month academic year position with the possibility of summer teaching. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to kinesiology, mentor master's and doctoral students, engage in scholarly research, which includes publishing research and applying for external funding; and participate in service activities within the department, college, university, and profession. The anticipated appointment date is Fall 2026.Job Requirements:• an earned doctorate degree in Kinesiology or a closely related area, with a focus around strength and conditioning or human fitness and performance.• a strong record of academic scholarship, as demonstrated by research publications, and have secured or be developing substantial extramural research funding.• a commitment to and potential for teaching excellence, or a record of successful college or university teaching; and• potential for, or history of active service participation and/or leadership roles in campus, community, or professional organizations.
