Job Responsibilities:
-Monitor sales & gross performance associated with large accounts and set targets at national and regional levels in collaboration with corporate and local parts wholesale teams
-Maintain the relationship with the large accounts’ corporate procurement teams
-Quarterly performance review with the large accounts team
Monthly check ins / reviews on level of service / returns / other operational issues with the large accounts’ team
-Internal weekly review of sales performance vs. target by account
-Internal monthly review of gross performance vs. target by account
-Identify opportunities to expand relationships, with corporate agreements or local agreements, via increase in existing brands sales and cross-selling for other brands currently not sold
-Requires collaboration with large accounts’ corporate procurement teams to lay out opportunity analysis and prep to negotiations to land new/renewed agreements
-In collaboration with AutoNation regional sales & business development managers, maintain the relationship with the large accounts’ regional/local procurement teams
-Gather input on level of service / returns / other operational issues from AutoNation regional sales & business development managers
-Monitor OSRs’ activities associated with large accounts and provide input to AutoNation regional sales & business development managers should changes deemed necessary
-Gather input on opportunities identified locally by AutoNation regional sales & business development managers to provide support and extract learnings to be leveraged in other markets / for other accounts
-Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
-Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required qualifications:
-Has worked in the procurement department of largest auto repair chains (collision or mechanical) in the US and/or has worked as parts wholesale sales & account manager of large dealership group of parts wholesale operators
-Familiar with electronic platforms ordering systems (e.g. CCC, repair link, collision link)
-7+ years in the automotive industry; 5+ years in wholesale parts
-Education requirements: bachelor’s degree
-Must meet company’s requirements for employment.
-Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintained an acceptable, safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Has worked in car dealership, in the parts department or any other position
-Has worked for an OEM, as district operation manager or sales area manager
Physical Requirements:
-Able to travel every other week
-Able to drive
