The Gather team is building a portfolio of products that use a human-centered, data-informed approach to empower everyday journeys by transforming the way people digitally interact with their vehicles and each other. As a Product Owner on the Gather team, you will be joining the ground floor of a growing team of cross-functional digital experts in product, engineering, and design. In this role, you will be a leading driver of squad and agency partners through product delivery as we build and grow our first product infrastructure from 0-1.

We are looking for a highly collaborative team member with a fanatical focus on the customer, and experience leading data-powered connected products in areas of disparate systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • o Lead Product Delivery: Spearhead product delivery for your defined area of business, crafting detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to drive feature development. Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to align product strategy with tactical execution.
  • Prioritize and Optimize: Optimize feature development by effectively managing backlogs, prioritizing initiatives, and communicating clearly with your squads and partners.
  • Ensure Quality and Accountability: Define "done" criteria and hold accountability for the quality of product feature delivery. Represent the product and serve as the primary point of contact for squad scrum activities.
  • Measure and Improve: Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for product delivery, aligning them with broader portfolio and operational objectives.
  • Influence and Align: Influence roadmaps across partner teams to facilitate feature delivery while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Experience
    • 3-5+ years of experience in digital product, preferably with a focus on mobile, connected, and/or data-powered products
    • 2-3+ years of experience managing and leading product delivery and cross-functional product squads; delivering and growing products 0-1 a plus
    • Demonstrated experience writing detailed product requirements and documentation
    • Ability to understand and collaborate on complex technical concepts and systems with engineers and scientists
    • Strong ability to empathize with and advocate for consumers
    • Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
