Visiting Assistant Professor in PhilosophyThe UTEP Philosophy Department invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2026. Area of specialization: Open. Area of competence: Open, but the department has teaching needs in Social-Political Philosophy and the History of Philosophy (Ancient, Modern, Twentieth Century). The appointed faculty will be expected to teach a large section of Introduction to Philosophy or Introduction to Ethics each semester. The teaching load is 3/3 per semester.Job Requirements:ABD applicants are welcome, but a Ph.D. by August 31, 2026 is required.
