Assistant Professor in Speech, Language, and Hearing SciencesThe Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at UTEP invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. While we welcome applicants with expertise in a wide range of areas, we are particularly interested in individuals with a background in bilingual language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), pediatric feeding, school-based services, and/or neurogenic disorders. Research foci that span areas and capitalize on the unique placement of UTEP on the U.S.-Mexico border will be given special consideration. The anticipated appointment start date is Fall of 2026.The successful candidate will teach core graduate and undergraduate courses in speech-language pathology, offer special topic electives and support thesis/dissertation mentorship.
